The Restaurant
Picnic, The Restaurant is hard to typify, but American/Continental will do. Open since early July, it features an ambitious and well-executed menu that changes daily, but there are many constants and, thankfully, no "specials." Christine Nunn and Annabel Schlair, who previously won plaudits as caterers in Westwood, have created a little gem. Portions are generous. Dinner for two averages $70.
